For Chicken and Marinade
700 g skinless, boneless chicken breast
1/2 cup fresh yogurt
6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp ground ginger

For the Chicken and Sauce
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 onion, diced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground ginger
6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tbsp sweet paprika
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp salt
15 ounces ketchup
1 1/2 cups water
1/3 thick cream
1 tsp granulated sugar
2 tbsp butter
chopped fresh parsley


For Chicken and Marinade
The first step is to prepare a large bowl, then put the chicken pieces, yogurt, garlic, garam masala, turmeric, cumin, sweet peppers, coriander, salt, chili powder, and ginger powder. Stir until mixed and the meat is seasoned.
Cover the bowl using plastic and let stand for 30 minutes in the fridge.

For the Chicken and Sauce
The next stage is, prepare a frying pan, put vegetable oil, and heat over medium heat.
Put the chicken and cook for 2 minutes, adding more oil if necessary. remove and set aside.
Clean the pan and reheat over medium heat.
After that put 1 tablespoon of oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Then add the onion, salt, and ginger. stir-fry for 3 minutes until it releases the aroma.
Then add the garlic, sweet paprika, garam masala, cumin, turmeric, ginger powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt stir for 1 minute.
Continue to add the tomato sauce and water, simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Next add the thick cream, sugar, and butter to the sauce. Stir until melted.
Finally, put the chicken that has been set aside in the sauce and cook again for 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked and the sauce thickens.
Pour chicken tikka masala over warm rice and sprinkle chopped parsley on top.
